I noticed that Il Capitano is a very grand character that uses his upper body. When he is scared, he shrinks and becomes a small curled ball. I will use this as I will shows the contrast and the clear difference to when he is scared and when he asks for a fight.
I learned that Brighella should be obsessed with something for example if he sees one thing that has a smudge, he will get mad and instaltly clean that smudge. Something else I learned was that Brighella is always mad at other servants, but always innocent to his master.
I learned Harlequin is very light hearted and is Columbina's lover. I can use the light heartedness in my piece to show that even when I am bossed around by my boss, I don't get angry but I keep light hearted.
I noticed that Magnifico looks down to people as if he were the boss and the most important. He also speaks in a precise and sharp way as if he were giving orders. He occupies space in the way he moves, he moves largely and with a big posture. I'm going to apply this in my scene by speaking sharply and straight as if I were to give orders.
I couldn't really find a good video for Pantalone, so I just looked at a video for the Dottore. It said that the doctor might fall asleep mid lecture, and the same could probably be said about pantalone.
Brighella is curious about new things. When he finds something new, he uses it and uses as he knew it from before. He also regrets doing things that are for people who are lower than him, so when he needs to do those things he does it rough. I thought I have to act more like a bossy person.

ReplyDeleteAlso, he is acrobatic and not too smart. I can show that I'm not smart by not understanding simple things, and I can use their acrobatics.
